LBL Photo is the commercial division of Little Blue Lemon Inc. LBL Photo was introduced in 2013/14 to showcase our entertainers, headshots, commercial, food, product and ecommerce photography and cinematography. LBL Photo is housed in a 2000 square foot space, complete with 20x23 foot cyclorama, pantograph system, constant kinoflo lighting set up as well as strobes.
For us, "The Photograph" is one of the most important mediums for recording history. Not only does it capture a moment as it happens, but it continues to live that emotion in the hearts of viewers long after that moment has passed. It is in this timelessness that we strive to find and capture the perfect photograph. A photograph has to tell a story within itself. Without the benefit of text, narration, or movement, we exploit lighting and composition in order to convey mood, tone and meaning. Art is the means to illicit a reaction and emotion; as a wise man once said, "Don't shoot what it looks like, shoot what it feels like." (-David Alan Harvey) Some of our photography clients include Google, Second City, Athletes Kitchen, Cook Canada, Toronto Municipal Employees Credit Union, and Woman's Day Magazine (New Zealand) featuring Craig Parker.
Cinematography has grown significantly in the last few years with the rise of online streaming. Many clients now use online films in addition to photography to showcase and promote their ecommerce business. LBL Photo has a wealth of experience creating films for companies selling on sites like amazon.com and wayfair.com. Some of our clients include Simpli Home, ranked one of Canada's fastest growing companies in 2016.
